The power of ONE, Simple math behind $2500/mo income!

I just did a simple calculation which I feel like I should share with everyone.

Let's say you are serious about this business, so in average you enroll 1 new PSA per day. That should not be a hard task, if you use training materials provided by SFI you would learn how to do that. Or just go for S-builder / PSA To Go / some ECA store or outsource any other way you find suitable for you.

People share with others some statistics like % of new PSA who are active. Some say their are just 1%, others claim they manage to activate 10%. I personally saw with my own eyes ( in my Gen report ) a person who was a TOP Enroller and managed to activate more than 50% !!! ( I agree - that's really AMAZING! ). I will take, for a purpose to explain my point, that it is just 3.3% ( 1/30 ).

In other words, you sponsor 1 new PSA per day, 30 new people every month, and you manage to activate just 1 of that 30. So you would end your first month with a *team* of 2 people: you and your 1 new active PSA

What will happen next month if you 2, you and your new active PSA, stick with your team building efforts the same way? You would keep sponsoring 1 new PSA every day. For the whole month that is 30 new people enrolled by you. As we said, if 29 drop out, and just 1 stay active, sharing the same vision with you, you will personally get just 1 more NEW active PSA in your second month.

In Total, at the end of the second month, you have just 2 active PSA ( and 58 inactive ). You trained / helped your active PSA from the previous month to do the same. He agreed to enroll 1 new PSA per day, just like you. He will finish the second month with his 30 new PSA, 29 inactive, and just 1 active. So, at the end of the second month you have a team of 4 active people ( and 87 inactive ): you, your 1 active PSA from a previous month, your 1 new active PSA, and "1 new active PSA of your PSA" your GEN2

If you extend this, you will finish the third month with a team of 8 active people ( and 172 inactive )
In the beginning it looks like you are going very slow, all of you invest a lot of time/money w/o getting back too much. But let us extend this further:

Month 1 – You sponsor 1 person – Total active people in your business – 2 ( you and your 1 active PSA )
Month 2 – Everyone sponsors – Total active People in your business: 4
Month 3 – Everyone sponsors – Total active People: 8
Month 4 – Everyone sponsors – Total active People: 16
Month 5 – Everyone sponsors – Total active: 32
Month 6 – Everyone sponsors – Total active: 64
Now here is the awesome part and where exponential growth starts to kick in. If you were to keep up that same pace of sponsoring just 1 person a month, teaching everyone in your organization to do the same, over the course of a year you would have grown an team of over 4000 active people. Here’s what the numbers would like on that:
Month 7 – Total 128
Month 8 – Total 256 Month 9– 512 Month 10 – 1024 Month 11 – 2048 Month 12 – 4096

Some will become Team Leaders, while others will keep EA rank, and 1500 VP/mo minimum.
Let us take the minimum and convert this number into commissions! 1500 Matching VP have a variable money value, but we can take that it is $0.60 ( 60 cents ).
Here is your income just from Matching Shares:

Month 1 – 2 X $0.60 = $1.20 - are you disappointed? Wait until the end!
Month 2 – 4 X $0.60 = $2.40
Month 3 – 8 X $0.60 = $4.80 - still disappointed? Read further!

Month 4 – 16 X $0.60 = $9.60
Month 5 – 32 X $0.60 = $19.20
Month 6 – 64 X $0.60 = $38.40 - this will finally cover your SO of 125 TCredits
Month 7 – 128 X $0.60 = $76.80
Month 8 – 256 X $0.60 = $153.60
Month 9– 512 X $0.60 = $307.20 - not bad, not bad, keep rocking!

Month 10 – 1024 X $0.60 = $614.40
Month 11 – 2048 X $0.60 = $1228.80
Month 12 – 4096 X $0.60 = $2457.60 - I think now you have nothing to complain on.

Do you know what is the best part? The best part is this: there is also month 13, month 14 , month 15 ... That is exactly the reason why this kind of business is a better choice than to have a 9-5 J*O*B, there your income is called "salary" and is limited for a 40 years with a very small rise, leaving you with 1/2 or lower after you *retire*

If this is true, why not everyone doing that? There are many reasons for that!
Main reason is: they don't see that that way - you should tell them! School, television, newspapers, your parents, friends, neighbors... they mainly talk about "finding a descent J*O*B" because they are VICTIMS of that SCAMS who limit people's minds thus limiting their potential income, and joy in life.

Everyone has ability to follow this simple plan. Even w/o much money to do paid advertising, you can advertise on so many FREE ways. Time consuming, but it will not take you 40 years to retire on 1/2 of your usual income.

It might take you more than 1 year, maybe 2, 3 or even 4, but once you *retire*as a Diamond Team Leader, you will earn so much more than before!

The Power of ONE can give you everything you wish if you understand it, stick with it, and explain to others how it works

10 Attributes of Self-Made Billionaires

10 Attributes of Self-Made Billionaires

July 26, 2016
It’s easy to think self-made billionaires just got lucky.
Maybe they were in the right place at the right time. Or maybe they stumbled across a discovery that made them a ton of money overnight.
But I’ve had the incredible fortune of being around and personally consulting to a number of self-made billionaires—even some as they ascended to billionaire-status—and I can tell you all of that is unequivocally false. Not even close.
Every self-made billionaire I’ve ever met or studied has something in common. It has nothing to do with luck or being in the right place at the right time. They all bring a unique set of attributes to each and every opportunity they come across. And when these attributes are developed and not suppressed, they transform into compelling strengths and abilities, but also severe (and sometimes very public) challenges.
You’ve seen them recently in the likes of Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, Richard Branson and Oprah Winfrey, and historically in Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford and John D. Rockefeller. But here’s the interesting part… you might have seen these in yourself, too.
So do you have it in you to become one of those seemingly magical people who can see the future and make it come to pass, all while making a pile of money in the process? Find out as I take you through the positives (and negatives) of the 10 attributes found within every self-made billionaire:
Related: 16 Rich Habits

1. High Sensitivity and Awareness

Beyond perceived eccentricities
for things like timing, color, food, fragrance or texture, a self-made billionaire’s sensitivities can be heightened to the point of distraction, isolation or even debilitation. On the positive side, I’ve found they each have their own unique sensitivities and heightened awareness that can seem extrasensory: everything from design functionality and perfect pitch, obsessions over air and water quality, knowing—with certainty—when someone else is dealing with a crisis. However, what’s special about the self-made billionaire is how they find ways to leverage their sensitivities and awareness to increase performance.

2. Futur

e Focused

The future-focused attribute often goes by another term: visionary. This label has become a badge of honor for entrepreneurs of every stripe, self-made billionaires included. Earlier in their lifetimes, however, they often got a different label: hopeless dreamer. The real differentiator between the two is how much protection and support they were able to surround themselves with, helping to make their dreams a reality.

3. High Processing Capacity

Self-made billionaires have unusually high processing capacities, being able to consume and retain information faster and in greater quantities than other people. This attribute drives them to seek out and collect large amounts of data, regardless of their physical or cognitive limitations, such as dyslexia. It can even make them seem like machines, automatons or obsessive individuals. They have simply found ways to process and analyze the information they collect in order to cast a clear vision, take action and make constructive decisions over time.

4. Persistent Adaptability

Though self-made billionaires maintain a persistent adaptability to take on new tasks, initiatives, businesses or even careers (think Bill Gates’ new focus on philanthropy or Donald Trump’s transition to politics), they are not chameleons. Most actually had difficulty adapting to certain situations, such as structured school or social environments, earlier in their lives. Yet they developed a persistent adaptability to new tasks and careers, and this attribute enabled them to achieve their vision or desired outcome.

5. Intense Focus on Results or a Single Outcome

We have all heard the stories: Steve Jobs’ dogmatic drive to perfect the Macintosh or Bill Gates’ near workaholic tendencies. There are many examples of self-made billionaires being viewed as super- or sub-human in order to make their mark on the world. Oftentimes, they pulled back and isolated themselves in order to get things done. Although this can make them appear obsessive, compulsive, combative or antisocial, the key is that these hyper-successful individuals directed this attribute toward very clear results or outcomes.

6. Bias for Improvement

As future-focused individuals, self-made billionaires see the world as it should be, not what it is today. They see what should be modified, improved or evolved. Given the choice between keeping things as they are or changing them for the better, they will almost always choose the latter. But the desire for improvement without an underlying structure can devolve into “improvement paralysis,” where products or ideas are endlessly refined without really moving forward. But the self-made billionaire maintains focus on their intended outcome to set proper priorities on the improvements that actually move them and their business forward.

7. Experimental or Experiential Learning

Yes, self-made billionaires learn through books, but they truly seek the application of their learning, the experiences and experiments; otherwise, they don’t feel momentum. As children, this attribute often made the traditional classroom and educational structures challenging. Experiences and experiments give these individuals confidence to push further, validate what they’ve learned and strengthen belief in their visions of the future.

8. Perceive Unique Connections

When the majority of people are united in one belief, it takes a certain type of person to offer contradictions or alternatives. Self-made billionaires have an enormous capacity to perceive unique connections in the world through their experiences, experiments, focus on the future and high sensitivities. They are able to see situations, problems, solutions and processes from different angles in order to leverage new resources or move in new directions. This can also be alienating and cause massive friction with their leadership teams.

9. Drive for Gained Advantage

This is a very visible attribute. The self-made billionaire constantly asks themselves, How do I get ahead? This consistently drives them to find an advantage or the means to get ahead. Sometimes this attribute can make individuals seem cutthroat, cold or heartless. However, the drive for gained advantage is a competitive attribute that has enabled the self-made billionaire to seek out new and unique solutions to shared challenges, and increase the contribution they can make to their teams.

10. Innate Motivation

Typically, the self-made billionaires I’ve met and worked with have no idea where their “fire” comes from. And although some view this attribute as mere ambition, intrinsic motivation isn’t the desire to climb corporate ladders or collect awards and recognition. This is an engine with no off switch, a constant drive to achieve goals and contribute to the world. Naturally, intrinsic motivation can also make these individuals restless, impatient and combative, especially around people who either lack the same kind of motivation or become obstacles to their momentum.
Looking at every self-made billionaire throughout history, you will find these 10 attributes. But while reading them, you might notice something interesting…. You can see some or all of them in yourself.
These attributes are not limited to the self-made billionaires, but found in an overlooked and misunderstood subpopulation of our society, the Entrepreneurial Personality Type (EPT). What I’ve found in both working with these individuals and researching them, is that the only difference between them and other EPTs is their ability to recognize their unique attributes, and find the protection and support necessary to turn them into incredible strengths.

Why Silver?

Should You Invest in Silver Now? 'Rich Dad' Thinks So

Jan.25.09 | About: iShares Silver (SLV)
What most investors hear time and time again is that "timing is everything." This is an important factor for any investor and especially those who aspire to become truly financially independent. And, no one knows how to time the market like Robert Kiyosaki – author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad.
Kiyosaki knows that there is a time to sow and a time to reap. He has reaped fortunes that helped him retire at the early age of 47. And, he sowed when real estate was not the preferred investment class and he cautioned real estate investors against risky strategies such as "flipping," and relying solely on the appreciation of properties with low or no "cash flow."
So, what does this famous investor like now?
He is looking at the commodity markets, specifically the precious metals: gold and silver. Yet gold and silver are investments that are still out of favor with most of the investing public.
Why You Should Be Investing in Silver Just Like Robert Kiyosaki
1. For the average investor, silver can be an effective means of diversifying investment assets and preserving wealth against the ravages of inflation. Although the value of silver may vary, it has an intrinsic value that is immutable and permanent. Accordingly, many experts suggest that investors should include it among their investment assets.
2. The commodity markets, specifically the silver market, have outperformed both the stock and bond markets recently and, I believe, will continue to do so. Since 2000 if you would have invested your currency into gold you would have seen a 190% return on your money. If you would have invested your money into silver you would have seen a 240% return on your money. This is an important shift to recognize, yet very few individual investors are aware that this fundamental change in the marketplace has taken.<
3. One of the most incredible truths about silver is that up until now, demand has outstripped supply for fifteen straight years. Annual silver supply deficits have run as high as 200 million ounces in boom years, and as low as 70 million ounces in years of recession like we are in now. It is important to realize that even in years of decreased silver demand the mining supply on an annual basis did NOT meet demand. There is nothing more bullish for a commodity than such a deficit condition.

Private Forum

New private forums for Team Leaders

iStock_000071827871_Small
We’ve just added a powerful new addition to the SFI Forum.  Effective immediately, if you’re a Team Leader, you can now have your own private forum that is accessible ONLY by your downline!

As a Team Leader, you can now invite your team members to discuss advertising sources, strategies, game plans, contests, marketing ideas, your team co-ops, and more.  No longer do you have to rely on other unwieldy and/or unfriendly methods to brainstorm and interact with your group.  Just create a thread, let your team know the URL, and put the power of a full-featured SFI private forum to work for you!
There are of course some important rules…
The general and currently-established rules and protocol of our Forum will still need to be adhered to. However, since everyone is part of the same group and cross-solicitation shouldn’t be an issue, you as a Team Leader will be allowed to reference third-party web sources, names, ID numbers, etc., so long as your sole objective is helping your downline and growing your SFI income.  However, violations of this key rule will result in the immediate and permanent loss of your private forum privilege…so make sure you keep your focus 100% on SFI!
Setting up your private forum is super simple.  If you’re a Team Leader, you will see the following panel at the forum:
PrivateForumButton
Simply click the “Create” button.  Your private forum will immediately be created and will now appear near the bottom of the Forum categories index.  You can now start creating threads immediately and sharing the URLs of your threads with your downline to promote participation in your group.

Q & A

Q: Define “downline.”  Who exactly will have access to my private forum?
If you’re a Bronze Team Leader, it would be anyone within your first six generations.  For an STL, it would be 8 generations.  For a GTL, 10 generations; for a PTL, 12 generations; and for a DTL, it would be 13 generations.

Q: In what ways can a private forum help me as a Team Leader?
The most important thing you can do to create duplication (THE key to becoming wildly successful in SFI) is to ACTIVELY ENGAGE with your group…on a regular, ongoing basis.  By actively utilizing a private forum for your team, you can build invaluable, mutually-beneficial relationships that can pay off in huge dividends for all involved.

At your private forum you can do weekly training sessions.  You can brainstorm.  You can work out new co-op ads for your whole team to participate in.  You can oversee mentoring and special assistance programs.  Organize a “welcoming party” for all your new team members.  The possibilities are endless and the ways you can use your private forum to grow and build your SFI business are infinite–all in a safe, friendly environment, at a forum built exclusively by and for SFI!
Q: Who can start threads in a private forum?
At this time, anyone who can access a particular private forum can create new threads.  If this proves to be problematic for Team Leaders, we may be able to adjust this so that Team Leaders can choose to keep this ability only for themselves so as to better manager their private forums.

Q: Will my CSAs have access to my private forum?
No.  You can use email, TeamMail, Stream, etc. to communicate with your CSAs, but we feel that private forums will be most effective as a tool for your proper downline only.

Q: What languages are allowed in private forums?
At this time, you are free to use whatever language or languages you’re comfortable with.

Q: Will moderators be able to access my private forum?
This is a somewhat complicated issue.  On one hand, we certainly want to give every Team Leader the ability to fully “speak freely.”  On the other hand, no Team Leader is going to be okay with a new downline member coming into their private forum and trashing SFI or soliciting everyone to join some other program.  Therefore, some form of moderation has to be utilized.  At this time, our plan is for a “call for moderation” system only.  That is, if a post is reported in a private forum for inappropriate content, for example, a moderator will be summoned to edit, remove, ban the person…whatever is the appropriate action.  Otherwise, moderators will not access private forums, nor will any posts for private forums go through a screening before being posted.  But do note that, going forward, this policy may need to evolve, and we will work with everyone to create the best policy possible that balances privacy with protection.  We are open to your suggestions for how best to achieve this.

  • E365 is now our biggest contest ever!  Every day, a whopping one thousand E365 contestants will share in over $3000 in cash and prizes.  That’s over $1,000,000 (over a million dollars) in cash and prizes annually!
  • There’s no more confusing “green line.”  Instead, to enter the E365 contest, you simply need to complete six simple steps (and for which you earn additional Signing Bonuses, too) to get entered in the big E365 Daily Drawing and have the opportunity to win the prestigious E365 Champion title.  More on the six steps later.
  • To make E365 more fun and allow more contestants to win, there’s now a monthly “Top VP” badge and prize.  We’re also recognizing each class’s Runner-Up.  And, if you don’t finish as the overall championship or runner-up, you’ll also have opportunity to earn the title of E365 champion of your country!
  • New affiliates can now enter the E365 contest at any time during their first year.  The sooner they qualify the better, since every day not qualified is one less chance to win a share of the $3000+ in daily cash and prizes, but there’s no hard deadline. Affiliates can enter whenever they’re ready.  And, by the way, if you’re someone who got knocked out of E365 but you’re still in your first year, you can now get back in the contest!
  • The E365 specs didn’t just get better.  We’ve also paired it with a brand new, splashy website with all the important information about E365 (rules, prizes, leaderboard, etc.) now centralized and presented in a handsome, fully-mobile responsive website.  Check it out at: https://www.sfimg.com/E365
  • We’ve simplified the rules.  ALL VP collected for the entire year now counts.  No exceptions.  No VP expires and there’s no limit anymore on VP from sales.  Clean and simple.

GETTING ENTERED

In our original version of E365, every new affiliate was automatically entered in the contest.  This had some upside, but it also meant that within 30 days of joining, 95% of all our affiliates were informed that they had “failed” when they were knocked out of the contest.  In hindsight, that’s not a great message to be giving to new affiliates.
Now, in E365 2.0, entering means completing six specific actions, actions that help them get off to a great, positive start, while at the same time creating engagement with their sponsor.
  • Step 1: Verify your email address (AKA “Double Opt-in”)
  • Step 2: Whitelist SFI, sponsor, other upline members, and co-sponsor
  • Step 3: Answer six basic Account Profile questions
  • Step 4: Upload account photo
  • Step 5: Send commitment letter to sponsor
  • Step 6: Achieve EA status
Steps 1-3 will be presented immediately after the New Affiliate Introduction (AKA GS3) and before LaunchPad.  These steps can be easily completed in five minutes or less, and any or all can be skipped (and came back to later) if desired.
Steps 4-5 are designed to be completed “when ready.”  We don’t want to intimidate brand new, freshly joined affiliates by “requiring” them to find and upload a photo in their first five minutes in SFI.  Nor can we expect them to make a commitment to their sponsor until they’ve had at least a few hours or days to learn more about SFI.
And step six, the final step, is about collecting the VP necessary to qualify as an EA (Executive Affiliate).  New affiliates can of course do this within just a day or two if they want to, but we want them to go at their own pace, to gather these points in as many days as they want–without unwarranted pressure.  And, as always, if they join late in a month, all their VP can be transferred to the next month of course.
Note that the To Do List is now sporting a new E365 section, too, (provided you’re in your first year) with the six steps neatly laid out so that it is crystal clear what steps need to be taken to get entered.  This section will also make it super-easy for sponsors to guide new affiliates about getting entered.

NEW SIGNING BONUSES

screenshot_960The new E365 also comes with some great new Signing Bonuses!  For each of the first four entry steps, $10 is added to the new affiliate’s Signing Bonus account.  And both step 5 and step 6 add another $20 each.  In all, that’s $80 added to the new affiliate’s account just for entering the E365 contest.
Combine that with their original $20 Signing Bonus for joining SFI, and every affiliate can start their SFI adventure with a gratifying $100–ready for them to start collecting as soon as they begin earning commissions!

NEW PANEL ON SCOREBOARD

Of course, with a great new contest like E365 2.0, we want to make sure that every single affiliate is fully aware of the contest and the opportunities available to them (the chance to share in over a million dollars in cash and prizes during their first year, and the opportunity to be recognized as the champion of their class)!
To this end, we’ve added a brand new E365 panel on the Scoreboard tab at the Affiliate Center.  Note: If you’re not eligible (i.e. you’re no longer in your first year in SFI), you’ll not see this panel.  For those not yet fully entered, it will display which steps have been completed and which still need to be completed.
screenshot_1406
For those who’ve completed the six steps already, it will display some handy stats about your position in the contest, a list of prizes won to date, and more.
This new panel will be viewed by all of your new affiliates during their first year every time they hit the Scoreboard tab to collect its daily VersaPoint.  If they’ve not yet entered, it will gently encourage them to GET entered.  If they’re already in the contest, it will keep them fully apprized of their status for the overall, monthly, and country competition, and provide daily, ongoing motivation until their 365th day in SFI.
Note: To provide even more exposure for E365 to new affiliates, a similar (albeit not as detailed) panel has also been added to the WIN IT tab for their first year.

Q & A

Q: I joined SFI less than a year ago, but I was eliminated from the E365 contest during one of the first few rounds.  Are you saying I can participate now, that I can still win the E365 championship for my class?
Yes!  Check your SCOREBOARD for your exact status.

Q: I’ve been in SFI for more than a year, so I can’t participate in E365.  Is there anything for me?
Yes!  Available to you is the Leadership Challenge contest and the new, monthly UNSTOPPABLE contest, not to mention your SFI business itself which is the biggest opportunity of all.

Q: I’ve been in SFI for more than a year and I don’t think it’s fair that I can’t get back in the E365 contest like so many others can now.
This is where you need to put on your “big picture” glasses.  Being in the E365 contest and having the opportunity to win the championship for your class is great of course, but the real opportunity–the opportunity to build a residual income of thousands of dollars a month by simply building your business–is of course the main reason for being in SFI–and this is fully available to you.  Meanwhile, consider how much you can add to your monthly earnings by the opportunity now afforded all your affiliates who’ve joined SFI in the last year…and all your future new affiliates. In short, the new E365 is going to help you build something great!

Q: I see that one of the qualifications to enter the E365 contest is qualifying as an EA (Executive Affiliate).  Doesn’t this make it harder for someone who joins SFI late in a month?
No, because they can transfer all VP from the month they started to their second month.  So it makes no difference when you join.

Q: Is there still a second chance program?
No, it’s no longer needed, because if you’re in your first year, you can jump in and compete for the championship of your class at any time.

Q: Are any of the new awards going to be awarded retroactively?
Yes!  If you are currently (as of today, June 6) second in VP in your class, and you did not win the overall championship, you’ll soon be sporting the new RUNNER-UP badge!  And if you’re tops in VP in your country right now (minimum 5000 VP), and you did not win the overall championship, you’ll soon be sporting the new Country Champion badge!

Q: How does the new E365 entry process help me as a sponsor?
Great question!  Let’s go through each of the six qualifying steps:

  1. Email address verification.  Having a confirmed-valid email address for your affiliates is BIG, because it helps ensure that they receive your email communications, a critical component for you to build a successful team.
  2. Whitelisting. You absolutely want your affiliates receiving SFI’s emails, your emails, and the emails of your upline  But if whitelisting isn’t done, even having a verified valid address isn’t good enough, because emails may otherwise be diverted into junk or spam folders, never to be seen.  Whitelisting prevents this and helps ensure that your and our emails get both delivered and SEEN by your affiliates.
  3. Affiliate Profile Basics answers some key questions (see below) that helps both SFI and you learn about your new affiliate so the best possible support and assistance can be provided.  For example, the person’s primary language is recorded–very important for quality communication.
  4. Account photo upload.  When your affiliate takes care of this step, they’re putting a face on their business and also deepening their engagement in SFI.  One of your jobs as their sponsor is to develop a personal one-on-one relationship–much easier when you can put a face to their name.
  5. Commitment Letter.  When your affiliate completes and sends you this letter, you now know for sure you’ve got a great new affiliate on your team!
  6. Achievement of EA rank.  As a sponsor, there are of course few things better than when a new affiliate advances to the rank of Executive Affiliate…now on their way to becoming a highly valuable member of your team…and bringing you one step closer to becoming a Diamond Team Leader.
Q: What are the six questions asked in the Affiliate Profile Basics?
  1. What is your primary language?
  2. How did you learn about SFI?
  3. What was your #1 reason for starting your business?
  4. What do you feel you need most to succeed with SFI?
  5. Gender (optional)
  6. Birthdate (optional)
Q: Where can I see the responses to the Affiliate Profile Basics questionnaire?
From the Genealogy, open the affiliate’s Affiliate Snapshot, then open the PROFILE section.  Note: Some affiliates may choose to not share this information with their sponsor for privacy reasons.

Q: What do the new badges look like?
Here are the five badges now available:

i-e365_badges
Note: The “Challenger” badge is awarded to every affiliate who qualifies for the E365 contest.  If you win the monthly VP contest (collecting the most VP for the month for your class), your Challenger badge gets the special gold trim added for approximately one month to recognize that achievement.
Q: How will eligible affiliates know that E365 is available to them?
E365 is now promoted on the To Do List, on the Scoreboard, and on the Win It tab as well. If they are around the Affiliate Center at all, it will be very hard to miss.  Additionally, it’s discussed in LaunchPad, and is referenced in certain emails sent to new affiliates during their first month.  There’s also continuous, daily recognition of E365 champions on the Growth tab, at the Forum, etc.

Q: Should I promote E365 to my new affiliates?
It’s a good idea, yes, but because we are exposing them to E365 prominently (as explained in the previous answer), there’s no need to be overly aggressive (and it may even be counter-productive).

Q: I liked the green line.  Why did we have to get rid of that?
First of all, many affiliates had difficulty understanding how the green line worked and what it represented.  This caused confusion and exasperation–and caused many to be turned off of SFI altogether.  At the same time, every round eliminated hundreds of affiliates.  By day 30, we’d told approximately 95% of all new affiliates that they were “failures” when they got knocked out of the contest.  What made this worse was that many of those folks were knocked out of the competition before they even realized they were in a contest, or what the rules were.  I’m sure you will agree that all of this runs counter to giving our affiliates a good, fun, positive start in our business.  But now, with E365 2.0, all affiliates can enter the contest at their convenience, when they’re ready.

Q: I had already qualified for the finals of the E365 contest.  What is my status now with the new E365 rules?
If you were already qualified for what was the finals in the old E365, you’ve been grandfathered into the new E365.

Q: What is the “big picture” impact of the new E365?
The new E365 contest, combined with today’s discontinuation of Fast-Track, represent a major step towards simplifying getting started for new affiliates.  Instead of multiple contests with multiple (and short) deadlines to immediately deal with upon joining, new affiliates can instead focus on a few key and basic activities to help them get off to a positive and productive start.

Forum Discussion

DISCUSS IT!  Log in at the SFI Affiliate Center, then head over to the FORUM–to the SFI NEWS DISCUSSIONS section–to discuss this announcement with your fellow SFI’ers.

Time in Solitude

It’s almost that time again. As we approach the mid-way mark for 2016 and head into a busy Summer season, it’s once again time for my Annual Solitude Saturday. On this day I shut off communication and go dark from ALL social media and email from Saturday morning to Sunday at 12 noon. The #1 goal of taking a Solitude Saturday is to slow everything down and take a mental time out from the digital distraction (maybe addiction!) of communication to take a deliberate look at what matters most in my life.
Tomorrow on Saturday, June 11th, I will once again go dark and unplug from social media and the urge to call/text anyone from sunrise to sun down.

Here are the four areas I will spend time self-reflecting on:

#1. My ideal health plan for overall wellness and what it looks like.
#2. My ideal marriage and role as a father and what it looks like.
#3. My ideal view of God and giving back to others and what it looks like.
#4. My ideal business and what it looks like.

Here are three things you can do right away to make disconnecting and creating your own Solitude Saturday a reality within your own life:
*Mark a day on your calendar and hold to it
*Disconnect all distractions, if possible and go to a serene place/space that fosters peace, calm, and solitude
*Determine the core areas of life you’d like to focus your time self-reflecting on and get to it
I hope you follow my lead and take a day of solitude to calm your mind and better design your destiny. I think you’ll be amazed at how valuable and awakening this gift of self-reflection and focus can be to make your life even richer and more fulfilling.

Facebook

Internet Income 2.0
Lesson #23--FACEBOOK

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
In this lesson, we will discuss how to promote your business on Facebook.
Know How to Use Facebook
First, make sure that you understand the basics of using Facebook.
Facebook has more reach than any other social network. Although it has a slower pace than Twitter, and business and political announcements are usually noticed on Twitter first, at the time of this writing more people use Facebook than Twitter.
A post on Facebook is a message typed to answer the question, "What's on your mind?" Like a Tweet on Twitter, a post on Facebook can contain text, photos, links and videos. Facebook, unlike Twitter (at the time of this writing), does not limit the number of characters in a post. (There were some articles in January 2016 suggesting that the character cap on Twitter would be significantly increased, but the limit is still in place as of the time of this writing, late April 2016). If you have a long post, Facebook does not display it all in your friends' newsfeeds, but provides a link to "more" to easily see the entire post.
Reacting
Facebook recently increased the number of ways that your friends can react to your posts and you to theirs. The "Like" button now offers the choices of "Like," "Love," "Haha," "Sad," or "Angry." This was a helpful improvement. Before, if someone posted that a parent died, you might have wanted to promote that post and let the person know you were thinking about them, but didn't have time to type a comment. Now, in that case, you can just use the "Sad" button to show that you share their sadness over this event. It also allows you to react "Angry" to an article about something you find upsetting without ambiguously suggesting that you like the content of the article.
You can also comment on a post. Unlike Twitter, your comment will show up directly underneath the post and will not appear on your own Timeline. For many people, this makes it much easier to follow conversations on Facebook than on Twitter.
You can share a post. That is, by clicking the "Share" button, the post will appear on your Timeline as though posted by you. If it is a link, you have the option of giving credit to the person who posted it before you or you may chose not to do so.
Hashtags are also available on Facebook and work the same as they do on Twitter. (Recall from our last lesson that a hashtag is any word, or phrase without spaces, beginning with the # symbol. You can use hashtags to organize your conversations and facilitate finding and sharing content related to a given topic. One can click on a hashtag to go directly to a feed of all the posts that have used that hashtag.)
You can bring a post to a friend's attention and, if their permissions allow, post it on their Timeline also, by using the @ symbol followed by their Facebook username.
Permissions
Speaking of permissions, you can avoid confusion on Facebook by understanding that each user has extensive control of how things work for them by setting different permissions. For example, to draw on our last reference, whether being tagged (i.e., putting the person's username in a post preceded by the @ symbol) will result in the post showing on their Timeline can be allowed or disallowed in their permissions. Same is true as to whether they can post directly on your Timeline. Whether someone can identify you in a photo (tagging the photo) also depends upon the permissions you have set. Whether you can identify someone else (with a link to their profile) in a photo, even a photo you made and posted on your own Timeline, depends upon their permissions.
Who can see your posts and comments also depends upon your permissions. You can limit your posts to just your friends, you can include friends of friends, or you can allow anyone to see them. The way different people set permissions differently can be amusing at times. If you see a conversation that makes no sense--it appears to be someone talking to an imaginary person that no one else can see--then someone may be participating in the conversation that has limited the visibility of their posts and comments to just their friends and you are not their friend, but the friend of a friend. Or, they may have blocked you. That is, the person in the conversation that you cannot see has told Facebook to prevent you from seeing any of their posts or comments. There are several other things that can be controlled by the permission settings as well.
Blocking
One of the controls allowed users on Facebook can be very helpful at times, amusing at times, and often offensive. It is amusing when it results in nonsense conversations from a blocked viewer's perspective. Blocking can be very useful if someone is bothering you or disrupting what you are trying to accomplish on Facebook and doesn't take your hints. Blocking is offensive to the person blocked, however, should they discover you have blocked them. There are several other ways to prevent these bad actions without directly blocking someone. Sometimes, it is the best choice, however.
Ever-changing
Facebook is known for changing the way things are done. Much of what I have written in this lesson above may be obsolete in the not too distant future. Facebook also has a reputation for changing things without proper announcement. Things will just begin to work differently at times and the outcome of your actions may not be what you expected. You have to be willing to accept the risk that things may change to use Facebook as an important part of your promotional strategy.
Facebook not only occasionally changes the way features work, but has also been known to undo the preferences you set. You may tell Facebook you never won't to see a certain type of post or posts from a certain person, but Facebook will, after a while, show them in your newsfeed anyway. I guess they assume you might change your mind. It can be annoying, though, to be constantly reinforcing the preferences you set.
Promoting with Facebook
Free Promotional
Very similar to Twitter, there is much you can do to promote your business on Facebook without having to pay Facebook for the promotion. Basic strategies that need your attention first include creating an inviting profile, learning to post content that is enticing or informative, following others so they will follow you back, conforming your content to the type of content that will get the most exposure on Facebook (i.e. have the best "Facerank"), and using standard promotional strategies (such as follow buttons on your website and including your Facebook profile in your email signature, etc.)
In either free or paid promotion, the same general approach applies after the above basics have been mastered. The three main steps to use with either free or paid promotion are:
1) understand your followers
2) target the right audience, and
3) monitor your campaign.
Facebook differs from Twitter when it comes to a business identity. On Twitter (at the time of this writing), a business profile is not significantly different from a personal profile. On Facebook, you will need to create a "Page" for your business that is separate from, yet tied to, your personal profile. You must have a personal profile to create a "Page."
When you click the "Add Page" button on Facebook, you are given (at the time of this writing) the following choices for the type of page to create: "Local Business or Place," "Company, Organization or Institution," "Brand or Product," "Artist, Band, or Public Figure," "Entertainment," or "Cause or Community." If you have a brick and mortar address for your business, you may select "Local Business or Place." If you work from home or make most of your sales on the Internet, "Brand or Product" might best suit your needs (unless, of course, you are an artist, public figure, or entertainer).
To monitor your results, "Insights" are provided with each brand "page." "Insights" are analytical tools that allow you determine what factors make your posts most successful. "Insights" are not provided with your personal profile, but are specific to pages.
There is no charge to create a page and there is no charge to use insights (and it is not necessary to purchase promotions to use insights). However, Facebook does limit the amount of exposures that a brand page gets in order to encourage you to use paid promotion. That is, posts on your brand page are less likely to show up in followers newsfeeds than are posts from personal accounts.
As with all social networks, starting with free promotion is always a good course for beginners, especially those with limited budgets. There is much you can learn about growing your followers and targeting their interest without ever spending a dime. It is good to learn as much as you can before moving to paid promotion.
As we have stated before, the best way to take advantage of free promotion is to enlist your personal profile to work with your brand page(s). Personal posts get more exposure than posts on brand pages. You can use your personal posts not only to increase the following on your brand page(s), but also to promote the posts you make there. You should take care, however, to avoid exact duplication--i.e. simply sharing every post from your brand page on your personal Timeline. If you do this, your friends who also follow your brand page will see many of your brand page posts twice--which may become annoying and motivate your friends to stop following your brand page to avoid the duplication.
On the other hand, because your personal posts are far more likely to get exposure and be seen, you should share your most important brand page posts on your personal Timeline. You can also talk about your brand page and encourage people to click directly on it to view all of its posts. This later approach, utilizing summaries of your last two or three brand page posts in posts on your personal Timeline, rather than outright sharing, can be a good strategy.
Paid Promotion
Facebook also offers a variety of paid promotional strategies. The three main approaches are:
1) to create an ad campaign to "build brand awareness" and increase the number of followers for your page or,
2) to create brand awareness and drive traffic to your website, or
3) to drive sales of particular products or services.
You can choose to promote posts or just run ads.
To learn the particulars at the time you are ready, go to Facebook from your brand page and look for help creating and using ads.
As for costs, the minimum daily advertising spend on Facebook is, at the time of this writing, $1.00 per day. The minimum cost per click is $0.01. You are unlikely to see any clicks if you bid that low, however. Interestingly, studies show that the average cost per click (CPC) on Facebook is somewhat lower than the average CPC for Google Ads. Facebook ads are more targeted, but the people are not actively searching on Facebook like they are on Google.
Facebook, like Twitter, provides a wide range of targeting options for paid promotion. Or, you can tailor your own target audience from your own lists. You can use a number of these targeting options in combination.
Also, very similar to Twitter, you can experiment with different types of followers and different targeting strategies to determine which works best by creating separate campaigns and monitoring the results of your campaigns. In each campaign, you can focus on a certain targeted group with different types of posts or ads. Over time, you can determine which audience responds best to certain types of posts. And, you can learn which type of posts work best over all audiences.
CONCLUSION
In this lesson, we discussed how to promote your business on Facebook. Facebook has more reach than any other social network at the time of this writing.
A Facebook post can contain text (with unlimited characters), photos, links and videos. Facebook provides a number of ways that your friends can react to your posts and you to theirs. In addition to liking (with it's Love, Sad, Haha, and Angry variants), you can comment on a post or share it. When posting, hashtags are also available on Facebook and work the same as they do on Twitter. You can bring a post to a friend's attention and, if their permissions allow, post it on their Timeline also, by using the @ symbol followed by their Facebook username. Facebook is known for changing the way things are done. You have to be willing to accept the risk that things may change to use Facebook as an important part of your promotional strategy.
Very similar to Twitter, there is much you can do to promote your business on Facebook for free. In either free or paid promotion, the same general approach applies. The three main steps to use with either free or paid promotion are:
1) understand your followers,
2) target the right audience, and
3) monitor your campaign.
To monitor your results, "Insights" are provided with each brand "page." "Insights" are analytical tools that allow you determine what factors make your posts most successful. The best way to take advantage of free promotion is to enlist your personal profile to work with your brand page(s). Utilizing summaries of your last two or three brand page posts in posts on your personal Timeline, rather than outright sharing, can be a good strategy.
Facebook also offers a variety of paid promotional strategies. You can choose to promote posts or just run ads. Facebook is cheaper on average than Google Ads and provides better "interest targeting," but cannot target people making a specific search like Google can. Facebook, like Twitter, provides a wide range of targeting options for paid promotion. Or, you can tailor your own target audience from your own lists. You can use a number of these targeting options in combination. You can experiment with different types of followers and different targeting strategies to determine which works best by creating separate campaigns and monitoring the results of your campaigns.

8 ways to reduce (or eliminate) shipping costs at TripleClicks

Shipping costs got you down? No problem! Here are several easy ways to get your favorite products at TripleClicks without being weighed down by the high cost of shipping:
1. Shop the ECA(s) located in your country or region.  TripleClicks features thousands of ECAs from all over the world.  You can earn unlimited VP buying from your local ECAs while greatly reducing shipping costs and delivery times.  To find your local ECAs, use the links located on your ECA tab at the Affiliate Center.
2. Connect with your local ECAs.  Some ECAs occasionally offer special reduced and/or free shipping promotions.  By being connected with them, you’ll be alerted to these special promotions.  To connect with your local ECAs, use the link located next to your country’s flag on your ECA tab (if available).
3. As a Pricebenders Auction winner living in the U.S. and Canada, you get your winning item shipped free! And international auction winners can opt to have their Pricebenders items shipped to a United States address at no additional cost as well! Just enter the name of the friend or family member and their U.S. address in the Ship-To fields during checkout.
4. Many ECAs offer the “Will-Call” option–which allows you to pick up your orders personally at their local store. Look for the Will-Call option at checkout, or select “Local Pickup” from the search column to the left side of any product category listing at TripleClicks.
5. “Take the bull by the horns” and sign up ECAs in your area!  By doing so, you’ll get the exact products that you want to promote and sell, and because they’re local businesses, shipping can be greatly reduced or eliminated.  Best of all, you can be earning lifetime royalties every time any SFI affiliate or other TC member buys or sells the products of the ECAs you’ve referred.  To learn more about this powerful opportunity, see the ECA Referral Guide HERE.
6. Look for ECA products offering free shipping.  You can find these items by using the “Ships to me for free” filter in the TripleClicks Search column.
7. Buy digital products at TripleClicks.  “Mighty TCredits,” for example, are 100% digital can be delivered to your TripleClicks account instantly and have no shipping cost.  But there are hundreds of other digital choices with no shipping costs, too.  Check them out HERE.
8. Some ECAs may charge more than they should.  Use the “Report Abuse” link on their product details pages to report excessive shipping costs.  If enough TripleClicks members do this and don’t buy the ECA’s products because of it, they will get the message and lower their shipping costs.
